Uppsala, Sweden
5 • 10 • 21 • 42 KM
Time to book August 15, 2026
Welcome to a slightly different race where we run around the lakes east of Uppsala. It is mostly easy roads and paths. Here we put the experience first, 6 lakes is not for those who want to break a personal record on asphalt.
The half marathon is full but there are still places left for the 5, 10 and 42 km. We had over 1,200 registered in June and have a cap of 1700 registered, with a maximum of 500 at each distance to ensure it doesn't get too crowded. Register by August 1st to avoid price increases and to be sure of a spot.
How many lakes have you run around?
You can choose a lake of 5,5 km, or the neighboring lake of 10,5 km. Or you run a half marathon around four lakes. But the most fun is of course to run around all six lakes. It is a slightly different race, environmentally friendly and with half of the participants from abroad. And instead of showers, we offer a free swim in the lake. We also have four saunas for our runners.
Choose race
From the short run on the forest paths along Lake Ramsen to the long, but varied roads and trails around all six lakes.
The times are adjusted so that you, your friends and family members can choose different distances and still run at the same time.
Environmental adaptation
The race is environmentally friendly, which means we avoid disposable cups. You bring your own bottle or cup – or you will receive a free reusable cup from us. Compared to last year, it is largely the same course, with the same lakes and the same distances. They were very popular. As in previous years, we offer a free direct bus from Uppsala, which runs on fossil-free fuel of course.
