Mark path
The courses can be marked a week in advance. Here you can find link to an advanced Google Maps with all tracks in stock. There are more maps here.
Sensitive areas (around the Fjällnora area, Frötuna, Borgisbadet, inside Länna, Skräddartorp) are done 3 days in advance.
The paths are marked with location signs. The idea is that you should see two signs at each opportunity. On long, obvious stretches, fewer, there may be a couple of hundred meters between each. On sharp turns and in the forest, there are more frequent signs. It may be every two meters in some places. Arrow signs are used at sharp turns and road intersections.
Place the cuttings at eye level, for example around posts and trees. If they hang down from a branch, leave about 40 cm of the cuttings hanging down.

On some routes there are multiple distances. 5 km (green-pink) goes all the way around. Same with 10 km (blue). Marathon and half marathon will sometimes see multiple colors, but there are usually no problems.
At 21 km (red) it is extra important to mark in Tailor's hut (59.823836, 17.902450) where 21 km continues straight ahead and 10 km runs left towards Fjällnora.
At 21 km (red) and 42 km (yellow), it is extra important at the end where the course runs close to 5 km (green-pink). near the Bridge (59.817618, 17.918434) and near Fjällnora.
In 5 km it is extra important at the beginning after a few hundred meters where you run into the forest (59.830750, 17.919890). There is also a place on the west side of the lake where many people run wrong, among the stone slabs (59.826063, 17.912451).

It is important to check the markings on Friday evening and Saturday morning. Cyclists check to make sure nothing has been torn down or is missing.

Pick up any litter you see on the road. It should be neat and nice along the course!

Remove path markings
When the last runner has passed, we can start picking up the cuttings. We will pick up the most sensitive parts (Fjällnora, Frötuna, Länna, Funbo, Skräddartorp) no later than Sunday. The rest no later than Wednesday.
We will check all routes at least twice in the next three weeks. Scraps are thrown away as garbage. Signs are handed in to Jonas at Marielund 170. Here you will find link to an advanced Google Maps with all tracks in stock. There are more maps here.

Important: Pick up litter. Even if our runners are not at fault, we may be blamed.
