Number plate distribution on Travel center, 59.857958, 17.646309
The aim is for the runners to have a pleasant first encounter with the race. As many as possible should arrive ready on Saturday and we should have a bit more peace in the starting area.
2 people are at the Travel Center from 11:00 AM to 19:00 PM Thursday and Friday. It takes about 20 minutes to get ready.
Table + large + two beach flags + large sign with map Number tags are handed out along with 4 safety pins. Each participant can get a reusable mug.
Those who have booked a T-shirt can get one. There have been cases of thieves stealing a T-shirt.
If mugs or T-shirts run out: They are available at the start of Saturday.
Mark off each participant who has collected a number tag and possibly a T-shirt.
If, in the unlikely event, they are not on the list, give them one of the available number tags at the end of each series (at the end of yellow 42 km, red 21 km etc. there are some empty lines). Write down their name, mobile number and email address.
If they want to change the distance, cross their name off the list and write it on the free line at the end.
If they want to buy a T-shirt or register later, ask them to do so on site in Fjällnora.
If you have printed maps, only hand them out if they ask for them. They don't need a map to find their way.
Ask if they are going to take the bus tomorrow and point out that the bus stop is on the other side of the tracks, not here.
Buses at Travel center, 59.857403, 17.650314
1 – 2 people
07:30 set up one or two beach flags at bus stop E3.
Welcome runners and make sure to gather.
When the first buses arrive, say hello to the bus driver and tell him that we are filling the first bus and then it can leave.
Make sure the buses are filled.
If someone hasn't booked a bus or is bringing a relative, say OK. They can come along. Only if there is an obvious crisis (buses are missing, people will be late) do you need to ask them to take the next bus.
If a runner is late and at risk of being late, let them have the right of way.
If there is a crisis, some people won't leave, there is no bus there: Let them share a taxi, the race will pay.
If they are late (if it is their fault) they have to pay themselves.
