Already in December, over 200 people have registered for August 15, 2026. Last year, we had 1500 registered and the half marathon was fully booked in June, so tickets for the half marathons will likely run out earlier in 2026 and there is a high risk that the 10 km and marathon will also be fully booked in the spring. Book next year's race now it's cheaper. The price will be increased in three steps on January 1, May 1 and August 1. You can cancel until quite late. How many of the lakes have you run around? You can choose a 5,5 km lake, or the neighboring lake of 10,5 km. Or you can run a half marathon around four lakes. But the most fun is of course to run around all six lakes. It's a slightly different race, environmentally friendly and with half of the participants from abroad. And instead of showers, we offer a free swim in the lake!
Choose race, from the short run on the forest paths along Lake Ramsen to the long, but varied roads and trails around all six lakes. The times are adjusted so that you, your friends and family members can choose different distances and still run at the same time.
The race is environmentally friendly, which means we avoid disposable cups. You bring your own bottle or cup – or you will receive a free reusable cup from us. Compared to last year, it is largely the same course, with the same lakes and the same distances. They were very popular. As in previous years, we offer a free direct bus from Uppsala, which runs on fossil-free fuel of course. Email info@6sjoar.se with your questions, but please be patient if it takes a few days for us to respond. We work on the race as a volunteer.

You register here online (preliminarily closes one week before start).
You can pick up your number tag at the Uppsala travel center on Thursday and Friday before the race day between 11 am and 19 pm. Or on site in Fjällnora, no later than thirty minutes before the start.
We arrange free direct buses from Uppsala travel center. See timetable. The buses run on fossil-free fuel.
The race is environmentally friendly. That means fewer disposable cups and plastic bags, more experiences. Fluid checks will be arranged, but please bring your own bottle or equivalent. For those who need it, we will hand out a free “Hydrapouch”, a smart silicone mug specially adapted for running.
We don't give out many things for environmental reasons, so no free T-shirts. But it is perfectly possible to buy a T-shirt at the finish line after the race at a discounted price.
All participation is at your own risk. You are responsible for your own insurance.
